KATALYST is a Brisbane-based creative label by Kate Evans.

KATALYST encourages thoughtful purchases and slow consumption by building strong relationships between garment and wearer. Kate produces staple tailored garments, hand crafted textiles and graphic visuals in her home studio. Pieces are carefully-crafted in small runs and to-order.

With a small catalogue of styles, KATALYST focuses on the building blocks of a wardrobe and making those staple items accessible to a wide variety of people. Kate’s textile and graphic work often intertwines with these staple pieces, creating printed or textural one-off variations. 

In her work with experimental textiles and visual design, organic lines and distressed materials are framed by clean construction.
